We're all born with death-wishes. It is our prerogative to live with them. And when pain is this satisfying, it only stands to reason that we give in to the impulse of desire. Desire that nurtures us, and the same desire that is fated to destroy us.

I'd disagree. We're born with a necessary agreement with nature, that we've to die. It's not a death wish, it's just the part of the contract, the game. And in return are the perks of fulfillment of desires.

@TUIB: Seeing is the easy part. From where I look at it, accepting may be hard, but it is also often unnecessary.

@Blasphemous Aesthete: I see that an absence of things is always compensated. For each object one yearns for, there is the instinct of considering the logical inverse.

Have you ever wanted something so much and for so long that you ended up wanting to destroy it?
